"Love Match"
tables often say Signs of the same Element are most compatible. There are 4 Elements in astrology, and 3 Signs in each:
FIRE (Aries, Leo, Sagittarius);
EARTH (Taurus, Virgo, Capricorn);
AIR (Gemini, Libra, Aquarius); and
WATER (Cancer, Scorpio, Pisces).
You are most "comfortable" with your own Sign and the other two in your Element.
For example, Aries would be most comfortable with the two other FIRE Signs, Leo and Sagittarius.

Signs of the same Element are most "similar" in that they share several traits and strategies for living. Friendships are easily made and maintained. They are "comfortable" - but not as "interesting" or "exciting" as less similar Signs.
Your best "love match" may be the three Sun Signs in your own Sun Sign's compatible Element, not the same Element. The Element of FIRE is most compatible with AIR and EARTH is most compatible with WATER. For example, Taurus (an EARTH Sign) is good with the WATER signs of Cancer, Scorpio, and Pisces. The three Signs in that matching Element are similar enough to the Taurus nature to be comfortable; but different enough to be interesting! One of them is your "opposite" Sign. For more, click on:
